I arrived in this new city at the beginning of spring — just in time to witness everything returning to life.
Oaks were everywhere. Along the trails, in quiet neighborhoods, in places I found myself coming back to again and again. I watched them closely — tiny sprouts pushing through, slowly unfolding into fuller forms.
There was no urgency in their growth.
Only time, steady and certain.
In many ways, it feels like my own life.
As I continue growing my art practice, I’m also discovering who I am — slowly, day by day. There’s no clear finish line, no absolute definition.
